5. How do I create a quote request?


From the Home Page, select ‘Start A Quote’

6. How do I compare transport companies?


In your customer portal simply click on the ‘Response’ Tab.

You will see the Best Rated verification tick – hover over the tick to compare.

Or click into the quote which will showcase all comparisons in detail.

7. Who is Best Rated Transport?


Our site has been custom built in Australia, owned by Australian Family & proudly ran with Australian staff. Our site is for the Australian Transport Market only – exception for international Horse transportation requests.

8. How long until I receive quotes?


You may start receiving quotes within minutes. Your quotes are hand-picked to suit your transport needs. Sit back and relax while we do the hard work. You’ll be notified each time a quote is sent to your portal!

9. Do I move on my set date?


Each quote will have the transport company’s availability.

You can compare on their availability. If you’re happy with their move date / comments left for your move, proceed to booking stage by clicking ‘Accept Quote’.

10. When do I provide my address details?


Once you accept the quote, the transport company will be in touch with you to confirm all other details. We respect your privacy and don’t require such information until you pay your deposit to accept your booking.

11. Can I amend my review?


Yes, you may amend your review in your customer portal.

12. How Do I Book & How much do I Pay?


Responses Tab -> Quotes -> Accept Quote

Each Quote will have the requested deposit amount nominated by the transport company. From as little as 20% of the total would be requested as a deposit.

A deposit assures us your booking is going ahead – we can then notify the transport company that you’re booked in and want to proceed!

You can compare deposit amounts in each individual quote.

We give you extra peace of mind.

Your deposit is only released to the transport company after your booking scheduled date.

We will notify the transport company of your commitment. The transport company will be in touch with you, within 2 business days.

15. Can I contact the transport company directly?


Best Rated Transport is built at a low cost solution for transport companies. Those transport companies use our site to give you their Best Rated Price and options.

Best Rated Transport is built so you make a fair comparison. Our site is safe and secure and Best Rated Transport companies must adhere to our strict code of conduct.

If you venture off the site and book directly with a transport company our strict code of conduct may not apply.

Did you know, we check the authenticity of every operator on our site? We have a 50-point verification process and long term relationships with operators to ensure you have the best experience possible.

16. Can I download receipts? I need a tax invoice to claim all expenses.

17. How do I leave a review?


After your booking scheduled date, you will be requested to leave a review about your experience on your chosen transport company. Please leave your review once the job is completed.

All reviews provides transparency and helps others to compare and choose the right Transporter for them.

18. How does our online directory work?


Best Rated Transport Online Directory acts as:

 A online hub to connect customers’ needs to the services of Transport Service Providers by facilitating information between both parties.

20. How do I cancel my transport move?


Before cancelling we recommend speaking with your selected transport company to arrange alternative dates / options.

  1. Any transaction fees charged by a Payment Provider are non-refundable.
  2. If you have made a:
    1. Standard Booking and wish to cancel, you may do so and obtain a refund of your Deposit if you provide us with notice of cancellation:
      1. at least 3 weeks before the move date; or
      2. within 2 days of the date of payment of the Deposit.
    2. Short Notice Booking and wish to cancel, you may do so and obtain a refund of the amount paid less your Deposit and any Payment Provider transaction fees. The Deposit and any transaction fees are non-refundable for all Short Notice Bookings.

4. There’s a problem with my delivery.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure no damages to goods, sometimes problems may arise. If that’s the case, please notify your chosen transport company directly on delivery.
